Judith's Call

Judith grew up in ministry as a youth pastor's kid, and has always known God had more for her life. After her first mission trip in kindergarten, she knew Mexico was where God wanted her to minister. When she was young, she thought that she understood salvation, but did not truly understand the faith and transformation fully. On May 7, 2014, she accepted Jesus Christ into her heart. From the time she was 16 until now, the Lord has allowed her to be involved in many facets of ministry including being a youth worker, helping in the children's department, leading worship on the praise team, leading the college/young adults ministry with Cade for 4 years, going on mission trips, and so many more opportunities to serve Him.

Cade's Call

Cade's testimony started at the age of 7 years old, when he received Jesus into his heart at Minnetonka Christian camp. From then on, he continued to attend Aurora Baptist church, and become heavily involved in attending services, and events. As he got older, he started to feel a tug on his heart to do more for Christ, and at the age of 16, again at camp Minnetonka, he surrendered his life to full time ministry. After that surrender, he went on to work at the Aurora Baptist church for 8.5 years, being involved in all facets of ministry. Cade never felt settled on one thing he was certain that the Lord wanted him to do. In 2019, we went on a mission trip to Mexico with a group from our church, and it was there in the cemetery where he felt the Lord telling him "this is where I want you and Judith".

The Mission Trip That Changed Everything

We have been together for 8 years, and were married on June 12, 2020. In March of 2019, while engaged we traveled to Mexico on a mission trip with Aurora Baptist, our home church. During this trip we visited a cemetery, and we were given a challenge by the missionaries to do more for the cause of Christ. Cade realized that his years of training, and different facets of ministry at Aurora was God's plan to equip him for missions, specifically in Mexico. Judith has known since the age of five that being a missionary to Mexico was her calling, but it was solidified after her conversation with Cade following the cemetery visit.

The Lord has blessed us with churches, and individuals who want to support our ministry, and we are so thankful they are partnering with us.

Our next steps include 6 months in a full immersion language school located in Tuis, Costa Rica. During this trip we will be in school 4 days a week learning both conversational, and Biblical Spanish. When we leave school for the day, we go home to our host family and practice what we learned from our classes. Our plans are to be gone from Sept-Feb of 2025

Once we've completed school, we will be headed to Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila in the summer of 2025.
